Lex - Love & Cruise Album
As an enthusiast, fan and blogger, music is creativity, qualitative production and witty lyricism and all this is encapsulated by Silas Musa Igeh.
Going by the stage moniker as Lex, he is also a performing and recording artist, a graphics designer, Music producer, cinematographer, content creator, paralegal as well as an activist. Despite it all, he's at his A game dishing out good sounds and good music from his kitchen; Mr. Governor is a testimony to that.
He released a ten track Album titled "Love & Cruise" and he features personalities such as Dessy Bengold, Dj Voltron, I.M and ZedAye respectively and it defines artistry and creativity in a unique way.
Kolo, Te Amo(Spanish for I love you) ft Dj Voltron, and Abena (Ghanaian for Tuesday) Ft I.M;
Basically, most Ghanaians were given names according to the days they were born.
These three songs are songs of affection and love, dedicated to that special woman dear to a man's heart.
A song of appreciation to the special lady. Moving from a stage of friendship to a beautiful throne of love. Loving everything about her, having thoughts of her over her show of affection, her support, humility, her beauty in and out, wanting to do every everything to permanently make this lady his own describes why he says she she makes him go gaga, lose controlwhenever she's around. We could also describe this lady as his wonder woman.
Like the artist, I don't believe in love at first Sight but that can be changed actually. In this song, this lady however gets him attracted to her. Pledging ultimate love for her. Ready to do anything for her, "I'll be there for u, in every situation I'll be loving you."
Love Definitely can turn man to a fool. lol.
Show Me Road is basically centred on hustle. Definitely one has to work hard, hustle in order to become successful. If you can't beat them, you join them but then again, use your head.
In this life, if there's one thing you must avoid is that thing called see finish. Avoid bad energy. Stay positive and hustle because you only live once. Do not involve yourself in stuffs that does not concern you. Stay on your lane. All this is embedded in the song "Away".
Jamaican girl is sexualized, kinda similar to Ruger's Dior and Useless and it's centered on partying and the ladies taking over the dance floor. She wanting to spend time with "afromaradona" Keeping the artist speechless but graciously submitted to her body.
Moving on, Banger is a song that expresses victory. Looking back at how far he has come in his music. Always on his A-game delivering, having perfection and excellence at its best - Mr. Governor is a testimony to that fact. "Hanyar, hanyar, walahi mun tare hanya" which means we've blocked the way and nobody can pass because we're ruling". And actually he is ruling. The king of Afro-pop.
Tripping features trap artist, ZedAye and its likened to Jamaican girl. It centered on partying and the ladies wanting to spend time with this personalities at the club.
The goal Is always to be successful, secure the bag and live a life of utmost happiness. Basically, "I just" expresses that fact. Here, Lex expresses his intentions for life, Vibe, make the money, live a life of utmost happiness.
Accordingly, this album is an amazing project and is still trending within and beyond the city. Greater heights to the king of AfroPop.
