Mc Pee, infuses melodic rhymes, rap and poetry into hip-hop, afro and and afro-pop music that creates a unique afrofusion sounds that inspires and uplifts every listener.

He is not only a good lyricist but also a powerful songwriter and singer who is able to work on myriads of contemporary sounds.

Multiple music Connoisseurs refer to Mc Pee's style of music as unique, captivating, relatable and mesmerizing.

 These qualities make him stand out as his unique voice is versatile on different genres he works on, capturing the richness of his sound and his lyrical prowess.

BACKGROUND

FAMILY

Mc Pee, whose birth name is Makplang John Gupar was born in Keffi, Nassarawa state, Nigeria.

He was born

on the 12th April to the family of Mr and Mrs John Benji Gupar.

He is the third of 5 male children.

EDUCATION

Mc Pee had his primary education at Hauwa Memorial primary school mangu, earning his First school leaving certificate from the institution and graduated in 2003.

He had is O'level education at St Benedict's Seminary and Convent Pankshin, graduated in 2009. He obtained his first degree from the pretigious University of Jos, with a Bsc. In Computer Science in 2018. He also has certifications in digital Journalism, digital marketing and psychology.

MUSIC CAREER

Mc Pee's music career metarmophosed from series of entertainment related activities he has had while growing up, from acting, dancing and singing from Sunday school through to high school.

Mc Pee officially made his recording debut in 2011 with a single masterpiece titled " Expensive Style " .

He then dropped a series of hip hop bangers in " Mandela ", " Optimist " " Zamugama Ujay " while at the University.

In 2020 he dropped a track that gained him international recognition titled " Lacasa De Barras " and also went on to drop " Bed Of Roses " and " Low " afterwards featuring some amazing artists in latter projects.

Mc Pee has been featured in over 5 rap cyphers in the course of his musical journey.

He has worked with other great artists, Producers sound Engineers and Instrumentalists such as Elmore, Mixer, Greal, Freezlinks, Hcien, King VI, Paul Stryngz and many other prolific talents.

He has worked with some publishing platforms as well as entertainment and fashion brands such as Aniomapress, Altimatenation inc ( Canada), EverydayStunner, FG creations, The Donner Foundation, amongst others.

He also has 3 brands to his name. ShoPluck Properties, a real estate company, Unique Aqparel , a clothing brand and Legit Opdate an online news and publicity platform.
