Philippians 4:6:Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
One night, as I was studying my Bible, the Holy Spirit said to me, “The easiest but hardest thing to do for some, if not most, believers, is to pray.” For a moment, I paused and realized how true that was.Someone once said, “Anyone can teach, anyone can preach—but not everyone can pray, because prayer is a sacrifice.”
The Holy Spirit went further to remind me that we are often more consistent and focused in our physical lives than in our spiritual lives. If only we devoted that same energy to our relationship with God, so much could change. The Father doesn’t seek perfection; He seeks the heart. He seeks intimacy. Above all, He seeks you.
The joy of answered prayers isn’t just in the outcome — it’s in the act of praying itself. Every sincere prayer aligns our hearts with God, teaches us patience, and deepens our faith. When we approach Him with a heart fully open, He hears, He responds, and we experience His joy — sometimes in ways we never expected.
Prayer is a sacrifice, yes, but it is also a privilege. And the joy that comes when God answers — whether in small whispers or life-changing miracles — reminds us that He is attentive, loving, and always present.
So as you go through life, have it registered in mind that the Father is still in the business of answering prayers.
Happy Wednesday!
